TROUBLE SHOOTING

Category Common Issue Solution
Pre Rinse Faucet Hose clogging
  1. 1.Turn off water supply and remove the hose.
  2. 2.Flush the hose with high-pressure water or use a hose cleaning brush to clean.
  3. 3.Install a pre-filter to prevent debris buildup.
Abnormal water pressure
  1. 1.Check for debris in the pressure regulator; clean or replace if necessary.
  2. 2.Adjust the pressure regulator to optimal pressure, avoiding extreme settings.
  3. 3.Replace the pressure regulator if damaged.
Low water flow Check for debris in the inlet, outlet, or aerator; clean if clogged.
Spray head clogging
  1. 1.Remove the spray plate.
  2. 2.Soak the plate in a solution of baking soda, white vinegar, and water; boil, then cool for 10 minutes to descale. / Use a needle tool to unclog.
Leakage at connection points Inspect threaded joints for looseness or rubber gaskets for damage; tighten or replace gaskets if needed.
Loose body Check if the locking nut or screws are loose and tighten them if necessary.
Stuck switch
  1. 1.Shut off angle valve and remove switch cover.
  2. 2.Inspect for debris, clean and apply lubricant.
Sensor Faucet Sensor failure (no response or indicator light off)
  1. 1.Replace the battery (for battery-powered models) or check AC adapter connection.
  2. 2.Clean infrared window with a soft cloth to remove scale or debris.
  3. 3.Replace infrared sensor if issue persists.
  4. 4.Disassemble, clean, or replace the solenoid valve core, spring, and other components as needed.
Continuous water flow or incomplete shutoff
  1. 1.Check the inlet strainer for debris and clean it if necessary.
  2. 2.Disassemble valve body, clean valve core and diaphragm, or replace solenoid valve if needed.
  3. 3.Install or adjust a pressure regulator.
Low water flow
  1. 1.Verify if the supply water pressure is adequate.
  2. 2.Check if the inlet strainer or supply pipes are deformed or clogged.
Metering Faucet No water flow or abnormal delay time after pressing
  1. 1.Disassemble button assembly to remove scale or debris.
  2. 2.Replace worn springs or seals.
  3. 3.Clean inlet filter and aerator.
Failure to auto shutoff Disassemble valve body; replace worn springs or seals.
Standard Faucet No water flow Check if all water supply valves are fully open.

General Maintenance:

  1. 1.Regular Cleaning: Monthly cleaning of sensor windows, mechanical press parts and filters to prevent scale and debris buildup.
  2. 2.Avoid Hard Impacts: Protect sensors or mechanical components from physical damage.
  3. 3.Check Power/Battery: Replace batteries (for sensor models) periodically to ensure stable circuitry.
  4. 4.Water Quality Management: Install a pre-filter to reduce sediment impact on valve cores.
  5. 5.For unresolved issues (e.g., circuit board or solenoid valve failure), contact after-sales service or professionals.
